Hockey13Playa 240 Report post Posted December 7, 2005 Well looks like Lungo might be traded to Philadelphia. http://www.sportsline.com/nhl/story/NHL_SC-RUMOR Well I personally I would love to see this happen, I am a huge flyers fan. This is also good if this deal happens, least hes not going to colorado.

SpankEmRed 1 Report post Posted December 7, 2005 That and a healthy Forsberg would definitely give OTT a run for their money. OTT would still eek out the dominance though I think. That would be an excellent move... quid pro quo?

GuloGulo 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2005 If a playoff team goes for Luongo I hope they know what they're doing. The guy has 0 GP in NHL playoffs. Sometimes I wonder if it's Keenan himself who sits and taps out all these Roberto-rumours to enhance the guy's trade value. For all we know he could be as "shaky" a playoff goalie as Cujo. Rice 42 Report post Posted December 7, 2005 I dont think Philly has enough cap room for that to go down.
Seth 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2005 ya I don't see how Philly can make this happen...unless Forsberg and Keith P aredone for the season but then they'd really need Richards and Carter....
fatcat6 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 I don't think Philadelphia can make it happen at all. They really hurt their money situation when the signed Hatcher, and more so after signing Forsberg. They just don't have anything left for anymore moves. I think the trade with the Blackhawks the other day is all they can do until next sesaon. Louongo makes to much, and that's going to make a lot of the other GM's turn their head the other way. If Louongo does get traded, just be ready that the team he's traded to will most likely not be a playoff contender team.
