If he were some skinny little kid sitting around on his ass, sure. Most kids that are advanced to the point of being a projected top 10 pick into a professional league are fairly physically mature. He might add an inch or so and fill out a bit, but I doubt he'll become physically imposing. peace
rick zombo 3,739 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 Exactly. And it's funny because I though Seth was one of the LGWers lobbying for some grit on this Wings team. Yet he's campaining for this smallish center. Doesn't make sense.
MarkusNaslund 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 Little has the skills. He may be shorter but the last short, talented center that fell down the draft was Sakic ... He should fall down to the #6-#10 spots. Vancouver has 3 2nd rounders, Hopefully Nonis can make a trade for our first, 3 seconds, and any prospect except Bourdon/Koltsov for a pick there. I would love for the Canucks to pick him, he's the stud center we've needed to draft since the start of the franchise.

Doesn't make sense. he's gonna turn into a mid-oower forward. Please note that he has 44 PIMs in 31 games yet is a power play scorer. Next Sakic really you think? I was thinking he reminded me more of a Theo Fleury but with more upside and less attitude.
MarkusNaslund 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 (edited) I don't think he's gonna turn into a power forward, he's too short and doesn't really seem to play that kind of game. I do think he'll turn out to be 'Sakic' like, he's a slick skater, sees the ice very well and seens the plays before they develop like all stud centers should. He's also got a hard wristshot but he needs some work on accuracy. Teams normally pick bigger, taller guys earlier on. I think he'll be the steal of the first round to whateve team picks him mid-round. I think a guy like Toews or Staal would more probably to turn out into a power forward. Not Little though. Although the probability of Vancouver or Detroit picking in that range is real slim so both our teams will have to go scrouning in the later rounds for gems. I do think Kessel will be a bust, if I had #1 position I'd pick Frolik over Kessel. There's a lot of centers this draft year ... Hockey Master 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 Little is very good. I can't say enough about him. This is his third year in the OHL, and now he is draft-eligible. He can score.

Ha! You're hilarious. You're now quoting central scouting? The same central scouting that ranked (final rankings) Abdelkader 25th among North American skaters and had Lantendresse ranked 52nd? How can you openly say Lantendresse is better than Abdelkader (ignoring central scouting) then use central scouting to "back up" your love for Little. Do you run a double standard often?
