Buuuuut, I was watching Seinfeld yesterday and heard Kramer pronounce Hockey and I sat there thinking to myself "what in the hell did he just say, he butchered the shiz out of that."

| This project started in 1995, when people in Cincinnati asked me if I was from (*gasp*) Wisconsin! I had never thought I had an accent... in fact, children are often taught in Michigan schools that our "accent" is the closest to the standard most aspired to by American television and radio personalities throughout the country. http://www.michigann...m/ma_home.shtml |
Hah, all hail our powerful and superior accent

| and i thought it was canadians with the accent! |
Canadians living in Southern Ontario get so much American television that they barely have the stereo-typical Canadian "hoser accent". Or at least I don't notice it, anyway.
In addition to the ones in Michigan, I also have cousins down south. Man I wish I had a Southern accent.
