Ya it turns out he wasn't eligible to play with them yet

According to NHL Olympic break rules, players who haven't played in 75% of the parent club's games or have not appeared in 16 of the 20 NHL games (ending Jan. 31) are eligible to go play with the AHL team.

The Wings sent him down for conditioning after the Feb. 1 deadline, meaning Kronwall's gotta sit out a week before he can play in the 'A'.

Kronwall did skate last Saturday night against Peoria, as the organisation wasn't aware about the rule until after the game.

He'll prob get to play a coupla games for them.
