Rumors from Hockey Leaks Boards.

Alright, this is from some guy at the Hockey Leaks boards. Dont flame me, because I dont necessarily beleive him, but I thought it would make for good discussion.

I've heard in recent e-mails the names of Luke Richardson and Geoff Sanderson rumoured to be heading to Detroit before the trade deadline. These are ofcourse rumours but are certianly not out of the question. I've also heard the continuous rumour of Giguere being on the way to Hockeytown but that is more unlikely than the first one.

I think if they were to make the right deal that picking up Richardson would be a great help to the blueline adding some much needed depth to help out Lidstrom Schnieder and especially Chelios. As for Sanderson he would be a great pick up if for the right price, maybe sending Lilja and a forward prospect to Phoenix for him, possibly Hudler.

Any thoughts on this would be great

Thread

I doubt Sanderson is coming here, we have enough depth at forward. I would like to see Richardson here if he could be had for the right price.

Richardson would be neat. He's not a great defenseman but he brings more to the line-up than Woolley does.

Sanderson though? Huh? Why? Lilja and Hudler for Geoff freakin' Sanderson?

Wait, don't you want Witt..?

Witt costs 400k less but he's going to be more expensive to acquire via trade.

They're essentially the same player.

Oh please. Witt is a much better player stuck on a bad team. Not to mention Richardson will soon turn 37.
