Andy Pred 48 337 Report post Posted March 5, 2006 A player who had a great Olympics and has previous NHL games under his belt is the Finnish forward Ville Peltonen. Currently playing in the Swiss league, at 33 is probably a little old for long term but could do a job on the 3/4 lines in the run in and playoffs. Not sure about the cost of getting him thou, but he is a tenacious forward who can put up some numbers too.

Heaton 1 Report post Posted March 5, 2006 He's never really fit in with the NHL game, he's really only good on the big ice.
Henkka 0 Report post Posted March 5, 2006 He's never really fit in with the NHL game, he's really only good on the big ice. It was the old NHL. In New NHL, quite speedy and skilled Peltonen would be a different fit. But as you said, at 33 he's maybe too old to come back.
