For the longest time I was not a very big fan of Jimmy Howard, as some of you meant remember, I had the BAN HOWARD photo. However, after the other night, I am starting to like the guy, he’s developing into a very good goalie for us and possibly the Red Wings. He did a great job the other night against the Moose. We were sitting way up in the nosebleed sits on the south side, west end. Therefore, I could watch Howard very well. I was very impressed with him in the shoot out rounds.

In addition Greg Amadio, Terry Virtue (did not know it was him, we asked him who he was), Travis Richards and Brett Angle were sitting behind us. Moreover, in typical fashion, my girl friend teased Greg a little. For a minute there, I thought he got pissed at her, but he said he was ok with her. (Dang, can’t take here any where with me…lol)

Hi (Todd) - it's me, JacksWild, (mosttoys) - I told you guys to just give Jimmy a chance - He's going to be a good one - Joey is more personable, but Jimmy is REAL young - he'll get better -

What do you have, or did you have, against Howard?

The demon code prevents me from declining a rock-off challenge.

Jimmy is playing VERY GOOD right now - I think he's feeling more confortable, and, he's moving side to side well. His performance in the shootout the other night was phenomenal!!

I'd bet that next season he is on the RW's as back-up goalie.

Drew needs to be in GR NOW!!! Joey is going to be dealing with his "bad back" again - hope he gets better, but we can't be using a goalie who isn't 100% going into the playoffs -

Drew has already been called up. I think Joey left the last game because of a groin injury. Howard has played well and won 21 games now. The more he plays, the more he gets accustomed to the pace and scheduling, and the more he improves. He has all the skill, it's just a matter of getting used to the surroundings.

"He sits next to Steve in that locker room for a reason -- because we wanted him to internalize some of those things. Steve was able to will this organization to unbelievable years with the three Stanley Cups, and now it's up to someone else. Z has that kind of will and that work ethic and that passion to be the best. It's going to be his time." -- Coach Mike Babcock
