I won't be watching it unless I'm dragged to the cinema
Basically for me, and alot of people I know, its still too much of an open wound. We know what happened, we don't want to watch a film on the big screen about it. Thats basically it.

FireCaptain - "THIS ISN'T DATELINE, BUT WE'RE HERE TO STOP A PREDATOR."
Du, du, du, du, du, du, du, du, du, du, du, du,
When I see you Red Wings,
I go out of my head,
I just can't get enough,
I just can't get enough,
All the things you do to me and all the things you said,
I just can't get enough.
I just can't get enough
We slip and slide and we fall in love and I just can't seem to get enough of...

It's not too early. During WWII, Hollywood pitched right in, and was putting out films as it happened...during a time of death and peril that today cannot compare to.
Now I know that times have changed. In this regard I don't think it's for the better. Today we're too touchy-feely, too feelings-oriented, and in some ways delusional about not realizing that we're truly in a global war against a large number of whacked-out people. It's even questionable as to whether or not Hollywood is on the side of good nowadays.
Sorry for HJ'ing the thread and turning it political, but it's really hard to separate this from politics.

I heard that the director asked each of the families of the victims if they would mind if he made the film. He got the okay from all of those families.
If it's not too soon for them, then that's all that matters. They actually lost someone in that crash.
Personally, I probably won't see it. I can't handle super depressing movies.

And I wonder
If everything could ever feel this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again
If everything could ever feel this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again

I don't think they're done in poor taste at all, actually I'd say they're done in good taste, finally honoring the heroes that saved the nations Capital.
I'll watch

For me personally, I couldn't watch this. Maybe its too soon, maybe because when I see footage of the Twin Towers burning, no matter how many times I have seen it, it still sends chills to the bone. I cannot imagine watching a minute by minute account about the passengers aboard that doomed flight, it would just break my heart
Ditto for the Nicolos Cage/WTC movie coming out this summer.
