Poll: Where would the series be if Datsyuk's linemates could catch

I am pretty amazed that the color commentary during power plays is something like this:

"Datsyuk, into the zone, beating 3 defenders. Beautiful pass over to Holmstrom. Holmstrom trips over the face-off circle."

"Pavel skates in, back to the point to a wide open Williams and he just couldn't keep it on his stick."

"Datsyuk, in the corner with three defenders on him, somehow comes away with the puck, in front to Holmstrom, OH, and he put it back into the corner for no apparent reason."

It's like the only way to stay on the offensive zone is if it's on Pavel or Hank's stick. Almost everyone else will cough it up and ruin the hard work that they got to get into the zone to begin with. And seriously, how many times does Williams need to mess up playing point on the PP before Babcok realizes it's really NOT THAT GREAT OF AN IDEA ANYMORE BECAUSE IT'S NOT WORKING AT ALL?

Anyway, back to the topic, I think we would have won the series 4 games to 1 if Datsyuk's linemates could catch a pass. What do you think?

But to answer your question, no, we would not have won 4-1 if thee guys could catch passes......we need to crash the net......thats all........its not getting pretty goals.......its getting the s***ty ones..

There have been a lot of times when others couldn't finish off the goal with a open net chance or a small breakaway.

I dunno about 4-1, cuz datsyuk wasnt there for game one, and game 2 and 3 he was still not 100 percent. But we wouldnt be losing the series.

He needs to play with wingers he has chemistry with.

I would like to see Holland sign Samsonov and Artyukhin. If Datsyuk still isnt producing then it will be time to trade him.

I've had a chance to catch some of those sweet passes of Pavel's playing with him for Russia. I would like very much to get a chance to do this in the NHL.
