August 14, 2006 Update - I need to postpone this event. I am having lasik surgery on Tuesday ,August 22nd and I've got a few other things going on that need to be taken care of. I apologize for the inconvenience but I think September or October will be better timing for this event.


Hey RWNW...thought maybe we'd all get together on Saturday, August 19, 2006 to celebrate Yzerman's career. I've got a pool so you're more than welcome to bring your bikini and shorts to swim. There will of COURSE be food smile.gif

Can I get a shout from those of you who would like to participate? Also, is this a good day?

Yes, TheWestWing it's over a month away! I just figured that the 19th would be so apropos for a retirement party.

Can't wait to read the "Phoenix: I still think it's a hockey market" chapter of Gary Bettman's autobiography. I'm guessing it's going to be chapter 11.
