from what ive observed of sykora over the years he's a dangerous sniper , he finds his openings and knows how to cash in . and i know he's never played with a set up man as talented as pavel , so i could see him in the new nhl and on dats wing hitting 40 goals . and he's proven his talent by his numbers several seasons and is only 29 so could end up playing many valuable seasons here . thusly at this point he's my # 1 free agent . # 2 is v kozlov cuz of size and talent together , maybe babcock could coach him into breaking out and becoming a late bloomer .

A late bloomer? Sykora's a bit past the "late bloomer" period. If he had a big season at this point it would be called "a good fluke."

As far as Pavel being a good set-up man.....he would be, but Sykora has played with better. Jagr...for starters. Kariya, Fedorov, Selanee, Elias, Gomez, Arnott, and I'm sure there are others. I know some of those guys aren't as good as Datsyuk....but they're all pretty good playmakers. Sykora is just an average player who gets a wee bit better when he's on a good line.

He'd be a nice addition, but we'd still be signing leftovers if we signed him at this point.

I for One would be intruigued with him. Both him and Slava Kozlov(Not fatty Viktor) could keep up with pavel and be poteionally lethal.
