paul woods fan club 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2006 i dont know how much he's making this year cuz there was some kind of defered or average salary controversey or something is what i remember , but if you put tkachuk with datsyuk itd be an unstoppable force . with zetterbergs line itd give us 2 very good lines to go with a great defence . then maybe get a vet goalie cheap at deadline to go with ozzie . and could probably get tkachuk cheap . JayUp88 1 Report post Posted July 27, 2006 But he could work well with two young guys. i wouldn't mind seeing him in the red and white for a season or two
LidstromIsASuperhero 29 Report post Posted July 27, 2006 This has crossed my mind as well. In the amount of time last season where he wasn't too fat to play or too hurt, he put up good numbers. A power forward type, he may be available come the trade deadline now that St. Louis has Guerin, especially if they're out of the playoff hunt.
Guest EZBAKETHAGANGSTA Report post Posted July 27, 2006 Seeing as keith weighs as much as dats and Zet combined i'd doubt he could keep up with either.

SwedeLundin77 460 Report post Posted July 28, 2006 Tkachuk is a horrible idea to trade for.... Why? The guy couldn't even stay under weight last season... and yes he is past his prime.
Muse 3 Report post Posted July 28, 2006 Tkachuk could bring a cup to Detroit? Nah. I think he's more likely to bring an empty box of Krispy Cremes.

uncommon_sense 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 LOL doesn't matter how good he is - he will NEVER win a cup his presence in the dressing room and on the team has prevented this since the second he came into this league sure, he can score, but he can't get a team to rally behind him... he's a jerk i know this from first-hand, personal experience (watching him play roller hockey with my older brother in a recreation summer competition) tkachuk is poison in the dressing room and he'll never change haha - trust me - you don't want him
Hit 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 Tkachuk is one of those players who shows up to practice every now and then and if it does not suit him, he does not participate.
