Reds4Life 51 Report post Posted January 7, 2008 I'd like to see this guy play in the NHL this season, just few games. Since we are on top, why not play him, so he gets some experience. It might motivate him to work even harder. I don't think he would be worse than Meech.
Andy Pred 48 337 Report post Posted January 7, 2008 I think that Meech's days in Detroit are numbered. The fact that nearly half the season is thru before the Wings suggest he go down to GR for conditioning to me means one of 2 things. a) he is being made ready for a trade proposal or b) the Wings may call up another prospect to have a look at them. of course i could be totally wrong and him going down could also be due to GR missing Ference for a while due to injury. TNBT 3 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but my girl got a call from Ericsson the other night to tell her he's headed to the AHL All-Star game. Same with Jimmy Howard.
ben_usmc 253 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 With all these great prospects at GR how come they are so bad? Or at least I'm told they are, I don't follow them

ben_usmc 253 Report post Posted January 30, 2008 sorry you just seem negative all the time, especially for the number 1 team in the league, but yeah we do have room to grow.
Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted February 17, 2008 Ericsson had a goal and an assist last night, which now makes 24 points in 53 games. He is +4, one of the few players on the team with a plus rating. And tonight he was in a fight. He's a very intriguing prospect.
