April 9, NHL.com: "I don't think he'll be here long. He's got so much talent,'' said Griffins defenseman Brad Norton. "I think he's like a poor man's Chris Pronger. He's a European who can play the North American style.''
...
"He plays hard. He plays mean. Some games, he's a monster. He throws guys around,'' Norton said.
...
"If you watched him, you wouldn't know he's been a forward before. It just takes him a second or two to read the situation because of his inexperience,'' [Griffins coach Greg] Ireland said. "He was never in a situation where he got a lot of playing time over there (in Sweden). He fights confidence sometimes. He tries to do so much. With him, it's making sure he doesn't keep re-living the last play.''

Sounds awesome & willing! clap.gif

I've been keeping an eye on this guy for awhile now, and he's looking damn good. We have some good prospects comming our way. Look at our defensive ones mostly, they will sure rip it up soon enough.

Ericsson off to a good start to the season as he just scored a third period goal in the season opener.

I'd like to see this guy play in the NHL this season, just few games. Since we are on top, why not play him, so he gets some experience. It might motivate him to work even harder. I don't think he would be worse than Meech.

I think that Meech's days in Detroit are numbered. The fact that nearly half the season is thru before
the Wings suggest he go down to GR for conditioning to me means one of 2 things. a) he is being made
ready for a trade proposal or b) the Wings may call up another prospect to have a look at them.

of course i could be totally wrong and him going down could also be due to GR missing Ference for a while due to injury.
"What are you guys doing?" Reggie Dunlop
"Putting on the foil coach" Jeff Hanson
"Yeah, every game, you want some coach?" Steve Hanson
"Er, no. No thanks guys." Reggie Dunlop
"Make sure they don't leave the bench!" Reggie Dunlop.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but my girl got a call from Ericsson the other night to tell her he's headed to the AHL All-Star game. Same with Jimmy Howard.

With all these great prospects at GR how come they are so bad? Or at least I'm told they are, I don't follow them

There's probably a way to directly link this to YouTube, but I'm tired and can't be bothered. Anyway, this will warm the heart... wink.gif

I make 1 or 2 posts a week tops. Sometimes they're gold, sometimes they're crap, but the end weight is the same.
