Forsberg scratched for tonite's game....prelude to something?

"During Robert Lang’s time in Detroit, he caused me anguish. Other times he brought me and my family great joy. Robert Lang occasionally coasts, and spends time searching for the best pane of glass to best view the reflection of his flowing mullet. Other times he is a strong-armed force with the puck. I never knew what to expect from Robert Lang. He is The Enigma. " - A2Y

TSN says that a deal appears to have gone down between Nashville and Philadelphia, and it's merely awaiting approval from the front office. It isn't a sure thing though.

Here's the link from what J-Swift was saying. The Preds are looking really tough.
In a 2005 study published by the journal Nature, researchers at Durham University in England concluded that, across a range of sports, we found that wearing red is consistently associated with a higher probability of winning. The researchers also suggested that red's effect may subconsciously intimidate opponents in athletic contests, especially when the athletes are equal in skill and strength.

Yup.
He's now a Predator. thumbdown.gif

Scottie Upshall, Ryan Parent, a 1st and 3rd rouner.

And so it begins ... Holland apparently just woke from his nap, and will comment shortly.

I will now roll my eyes effusively at this remark:

"We've been in the same spot all year long. We won 50 games for the fourth year in a row. People think we're just hum-drum and boring.
No, you know what we are, we're good. You can't do what we do every single day and not be good." - Mike Babcock

Well then why the hell did ya roll your eyes?

I'm happy cause Nashville won't be winning anything this year.
Even more happy when we hear Fatty Bertuzzi went to one of 29 OTHER teams.

Because you posted on Lets Go Wings Dot Com, and it's compulsory for me at this point when you do that.

How is this a knock on Holland?

Had he matched that offer there'd be 20 threads (justifiably) on how he overpaid for Floppa.

It's too early to condemn holland.

This is hilarious how people are flipping because we did'nt get Forsberg.Look at what Nashville gave up to get him.Holland was very interested in him and he made his offer. So it was'nt enough..would you rather he gave what the Preds did??I personally did'nt want Forsberg here from the beginning of all these rumours, and i'm VERY happy we did'nt get him.We need a scoring forward with toughness.Bring on Bertuzzi !!!I know Holland will land someone soon, and it's not gonna be Floppa!!!!!
