I think Lidstrom is finally gonna get his 200th in this game on a powerplay, not gonna be a blow out but we'll win it and put up another strong 3rd period were our first line comes through to put the game away.
God put me on earth to do a certain number of things. Right now I'm so far behind I'll never die.

im at work the airport and our flight is delayed until 10pm. I thought I would be able to get off at 8 and then be home for the beggining of the game, now I will miss most of it..... crap.

Anywho... GO WINGS! Hopefully the second line steps it up a bit, but I think the grinders (drapes, Franz, and Malts) are going to bury one. Lets make it a good one, boys!

Kinda wanted to go to the game tonight, but the Coyotes think it's cute to double the ticket prices when the Wings come to town! thumbdown.gif

That said, I'll have the local Phoenix channel tuned in to watch our boys take it to the desert dogs. Hoping for a good game, do we have a confirmation of who our goalie is going to be?

No score prediction, just rooting for a Wings' victory!! goal.gif goal.gif

8-1 Wings
I'm not even kidding.

Hope Tellqvist starts though.
Like Cujo too much to see him get shelled...

I went to buy some camouflage pants the other day but I couldn't find any.

Do you enjoy seeing Wayne get that constipated look on his face?

Yeah guys, no running up the score tonight. I hate seeing Wayne Whine and then deny the fact when confronted, no McSorley to defend his sorry ass these days!!
"What are you guys doing?" Reggie Dunlop
"Putting on the foil coach" Jeff Hanson
"Yeah, every game, you want some coach?" Steve Hanson
"Er, no. No thanks guys." Reggie Dunlop
"Make sure they don't leave the bench!" Reggie Dunlop.

Cuteness backfired I thought back in January when we played there. Something like 11,000 showed? They oughta pull their head out of their collective asses and charge normally, that way a sold-out arena. It'd do Wayne some good to hear his team booed most of the game, at least the franchise would be making money. smile.gif

Anyone else think that we will score before the third period? I am getting a feeling that Hank, Mule, Draper, and Homer will score tonite. There could be more, I just havent thought of them yet. Consecutive non-shutout streak is at a whopping three games now! Go shut them yotes up fellas!

I'd agree to some extent (and I believe there was a whole thread devoted to this topic at one point), but they had a hard time selling out that nice new barn they have there even before they pulled this stunt. I've seen many Wings games there in Phoenix because I have family there and I don't think any of them were ever sellouts. Why on earth would a franchise (that's now part of a CBA that promotes overall league growth) turn hockey fans away?

I say make 'em pay for it.

For those in Lansing, are we going to get the game? It's being broadcast on Fox 2, which normally means that it will be picked up by FSN Detroit. But, tonight, the MSU/Western Michigan hockey game is on. Anybody know if I'm going to be forced to listen on the radio?

I know this doesn't really belong in this thread but I didn't feel like starting a new one just for this comment: Wild vs. Nashville, and Boogaard is scratched?! You'd think their top fighter would play against a team like Nashville. Plus he might get a chance to take out Forsberg in his first game back in the West. I guess the Wild needed someone with offensive upside in the lineup tonight but this decision just baffles me.

Oh and with that, 100 posts!

Why wouldn't Fox Lansing pick up the game if Fox Detroit is showing it? Are more people really going to watch America's Most Wanted or whatever s*** is on?

FOX 2 blows.

EDIT: Fox's feed is on CW (formerly WB), my above comment is because the sound sucks ass, and the technical problems...

Eric?
