vladyfan 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2007 Lets hope to God that Shanny is ok and not out for a while. I just heard a sucking sound.... I am afraid the Rangers will not be able to over come this....
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted February 17, 2007 Avery got into a screaming match with the assitants of the Flyers AFTER the game in which they had to be seperated. Wow. I seriously wish I would of seen this game. I need some clips or something.
esteef 2,679 Report post Posted February 17, 2007 If you're attempting to make a point that having enforcers doesnt stop anything...this is not a good example. It actually fuels the opposite argument since Colton Orr is scratched and Fedoruk is running roughshot with no one to fight him. Exactly. Much like Hordichuk will do if we see Nashville in the playoffs. BTW. Hope Shanny's alright. ((((esteef))))

Vincanni 1 Report post Posted February 17, 2007 Get well shanny! This is really gonna screw over new York's playoff hopes. On a side note anyone else think Philly might be playing beyond their normal realm of physicality in order to showcase grit for playoff teams like the Wing's trying to bulk up a bit? I know they're trying to peddle Sanderson and moved him on the top line that game, for showcase reasons.

You know, to make their mark somehow on the season.
Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted February 18, 2007 Shanahan, 38, appeared to also be bleeding from the mouth one day after extensive dental work. He lost a tooth Thursday night at Carolina after being struck in the mouth by a puck. Poor Shanny. Hope he's alright.
haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted February 18, 2007 Inital word is he's okay. The initial reports on Shanahan were good. X-rays and a CT scan were negative, but he was to be kept overnight for observation at St. Vincent's Hospital. The Rangers said he was alert and moving his extremities. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=196574&hubname=nhl
