Has to be one of the sellers (as in lowering the prices). One would think that they want to get at least some return for their impending UFAs.

Yes, as of now no buying team will pull the trigger. The prices are absurd. One of two things will occur:

1) The sellers will realize that their prices are far too high, and lower them. Then we'll see some activity.

2) Prices will remain unchanged, and no trades will occur. Of course, this will suck for the sellers, as the UFAs currently on the trade-deadline market will leave after the season.

One or the other will occur; for the first path, all it will take is one team lowering its price. All other teams will be forced to follow. Should no team lower their price, then no deals will occur, period. All teams will go into the playoffs as-is.

I think that will begin to happen Sunday night and the league will see some significant movement on Monday.

Precisely, patience truly is a virtue here. I'd be stunned if nothing happened. It's only natural for the sellers to test the market because they are in control, for now.
