Can anyone confirm?

I'm just glad Williams is gone -- peace Willy!
In a 2005 study published by the journal Nature, researchers at Durham University in England concluded that, across a range of sports, we found that wearing red is consistently associated with a higher probability of winning. The researchers also suggested that red's effect may subconsciously intimidate opponents in athletic contests, especially when the athletes are equal in skill and strength.

Someone posted it over on hockeybuzz but I can't find it anywhere else. And if they got Calder I don't really see how hes an improvment over the out going Jason Williams, if its true.

Is there any chance this is real? Was it reported as "confirmed" or "done" or is this an extension from some Eklund rumor.

"During Robert Lang’s time in Detroit, he caused me anguish. Other times he brought me and my family great joy. Robert Lang occasionally coasts, and spends time searching for the best pane of glass to best view the reflection of his flowing mullet. Other times he is a strong-armed force with the puck. I never knew what to expect from Robert Lang. He is The Enigma. " - A2Y

Hopefully this is true. Bye bye Jason.

Now get Guerin with Hudler and 1st, and we are done.

Dats - Zeta - Homer
Calder/Cleary - Lang - Guerin
Franz - Drapes - Malts
Cleary/Calder - Filp - Sammy

It stinks. Lasse Kukkonen for Jason Williams? C'mon.

uhh, in the last 10 minutes I have read that we have gotten Calder, Blake, and Guerin. I am not buying anything till I sees it on a major site.
"It is a lot easier to be an ******* to words than to people"-xkcd

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.

This was a comment on hockeybuzz? Nevermind. Williams is still here.

Exactly. No purpose. Calder's a -31 by the way...

Well it says we got Calder, not Kukkonen...

I'm unfamiliar with Calder aside from the trophy and the brief summaries on various hockey sites (which are often outdated). Could someone give me a brief description of the type of player he is? Or at least what he's got over Jason.
