CupCrazy22 6 Report post Posted February 27, 2007 J.R should have been a wing in 01-02. Damn you Bob Clarke. No kidding!!! Hell, if we could get him for a 6th or 7th round pick or Lilja, I would do it. He wants to win, and playing for the Yotes and Kings just doesn't match up with winning. Never_Retire_Steve 35 Report post Posted February 27, 2007 Roenick does seem to elevate his play when there is something to play for. Does anyone remember the playoff series against the Leafs and the battles he had with those guys, especially Tucker.

See recent career stats here: http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/4/care...rQG5OecL.ZivLYF The guy can't play anymore.
SwedeLundin77 460 Report post Posted February 27, 2007 Yeah but Roenick was bumped to LA where he had a hard time fitting into their system and then the same goes for Phoenix.... too moderately bad teams. Put him on a contender, he'll elevate his play. Besides with us he'll play on the 3rd or 4th line and be a great leadership type player to have playing back with the younger guys.
