Bertuzzi...

hehe.gif hehe.gif hehe.gif hehe.gif

...no seriously, i'm scared. Weber and/or Vishnevsky better be on the ice every time that Bertuzzi is out there.

I'm such a hypocrite. I rallied against Bert the whole time but I'm so excited right now. This could be really good.

I have a feeling this board will be full of hypocrits by the end of the day...

I can honestly say though, that I defended Bertuzzi all along...

As long as Bertuzzi is able to play, this is a great move....

Oh Boy

I should search back to the Bert-Moore threads and see what hypocrites are welcoming Todd and slammed him when that incident went down.

It's so funny, I thought you guys all said Bertuzzi would *NEVER* don the Winged Wheel?

yeah... no kidding. it's pretty odd to me to hear this trade is done. from the team perspective however, this could be a huge pickup

Definitely not me. That incident actually made me like Bert a lot more. I don't condone what he did, but I love someone who will stick up for his teammates. So it wasn't me.... smile.gif

the pick can become a 1st rounder if they make the conf finals.

But regardless, a tremendous move by kenny. Our 2nd line all of a sudden looks great.

Holland is pretty much pinning our playoff hopes on Dom's groin and Bert's back.

uh, I think a lot of people said they would never want him to wear the winged wheel. That's different.

Meh, same thing. You'd think he would'nt be welcomed with as open arms for his "barbarism" rolleyes.gif.

I wonder if there's any guarantees made about him being able to play at all? That back is really messed up from all the cross checks he took from 01-04.

...and LGW explodes...

Man, I tried to post for a few minutes, and couldn't get the page to load.

Anyway, if Bertuzzi can get up to speed during the remainder of the regular season, then our 2nd line just got a MAJOR upgrade. Excellent work Holland!

this is great. he is a beast who can easily put up 40g-60a numbers when healthy, plus he hits like a mule and obviously has a mean streak

It's actually kind of interesting... Holland picked up two guys with really disappointing seasons for relatively cheap. But I'm happy with these deals.

I hope the junior player isn't Kindl, though.

It's too bad the Avs suck (ok not really biggrin.gif )....he could have added some spark back into the rivalry.

I like both moves Holland has made so far (I reserve the right to change my mind depending on who the prospect is, but unless he moved Howard or Kindl I'm probably happy with it). If Bertuzzi is healthy, that could be a HUGE pickup for us. Better than getting Guerin (again, IF he's healthy) and cheaper.
