Lilja 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2007 his name is KronWall, not Kronvall. The error was in his travel visa when he came over from Sweden, they misspelled his name. Therefor the nhl was forced to use the name on the visa, which was Kronvall. But rest assured his name is spelled, and pronounced with a W. Actually in sweden we dont have any pronounciation of W. Our language doesnt have any "thick" W. So if its spoken with w or v would sound the same for us. Just a detail! Btw.. I love the teams webpages where it says how to pronounce the names, like.. Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted March 6, 2007 i didnt know it was because of that, thats insane, when i went two hour to philly to see the wings play (dont ask me about it ) some philly fan was cracking at kronwall calling him all kinds of ugly things cause he wore the cage, i wonder what he would do if i took a skate to his face muahahaha The irony in that is Todd Fedoruk wore the same exact cage earlier this season. I wouldn't take much context to what a Flyers fan says. They hate everyone. I don't know what is in the water in that city, but it really makes you wonder.
