OIC. I was thinking more along the lines of scouting gurus in general.....since Chadd was the guy that revived the Tigers' horrible scouting program. Miller kind of fell into our lap, but without Chadd we don't bother drafting Maybin.

I think that Polanco = Lidstrom. Both are very consistent and work hard and get the job done. Both were very underrated and are now getting noticed a lot more because Lidstrom is the Captain, and Polanco helped us to a World Series. I think that it is an interesting comparison of what people think of the two athletes in their respective leagues.

Polanco is more of a Holmstrom to me. Nothing flashy, just gets it done. Holmstrom gets his deflections, Polanco slaps singles to right field.
