 Very cool...not much time left in the regular season this year but maybe I'll pick it up next year, all the playoff games are on TV here anyway

I think it's a great idea! But is it me, or is $119 really steep for having less than a month left in the regular season?

I'll definitely consider picking it up for next year though.

Yeah, that's almost certainly not worth it. I'm honestly surprised you'd contemplate it anyway, considering that you get all the Wings games on local TV as it is. I've bought center ice--at two different homes now, for an aggregate of $250 on this year--because I live in Colorado. Without Center Ice, I'd catch--as a combo of games on NBC, Versus, Comcast Internet Feed, and Yahoo! Feed--perhaps 1/4 of the season if I were lucky. I couldn't take that.

They'd get a lot more customers (like me) if they'd charge based of games left.

This seriously sucks. $120 dollars for the tail end of the season? Plus, we have no idea how the quality looks or anything. Try try, NHL. I like p2p tv alot more, and it doesn't have *** blackout restrictions either.

LoL... 1/2 off if you already have it via Digital Cable provider.

Give me a break. WHY would I spend another $59.50 to get it on the computer?

Yeah, no kidding. It would be better to hook up a Slingbox to your cable in your house, and then you'd be able to watch it for free on the internet...(plus the cost of the slingbox).

Hmmm! :sly:

Who cares about getting it on the computer as well as at home- this is great for people that A) Live out of state, and B) Live in a s***ty apartment complex that makes you buy their cable package (with no versus/nhl center ice option)- I would qualify as the latter of the two.

They should have just offered it for free (now that it's near the end of the season). Then put that price tag on it next season. That way people would be more interested if they like it. Just my two cents though.

i actually just got center ice for tv a couple weeks ago. and it cost me a grand total of 29.75 for the rest of the year and the first 2 rounds of the playoffs. that is what comcast is offering. and i would say its pretty fair.

In Kansas CIty they are still sticking to the $120. My wife called last week and they told her that. I have a severe case of bronchitis, and no voice, or I'd have gotten on the phone and berated them... $120 for a month of games?
