Oz's confidence is booming after his awesome SO win !
I'm not saying this will be an easy game, but the Wings could win this one too.
The Preds are beatable !!

3-1 Wings !!

GO OZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZIE !!!!!!!!!!!

I went to buy some camouflage pants the other day but I couldn't find any.

QUOTE(Crymson @ March 13, 2007 - 01:44AM) View Post

If Nashville takes three points, then they will be five points ahead of the Wings. Statistically speaking, the Wings` game in hand, once played, will reduce that lead to three points. This is hardly insurmountable in 10 games. Meanwhile, if the Wings get three points with a game in hand, they'll be a point above Nashville; again, statistically speaking that game in hand will be won, giving Detroit a three point lead when all is done.

As such, I don't see the logic in your argument--why would a three-point lead give Nashville the division title but not do the same for Detroit?

Predators take 3 points, they five points up with one more game played. Wings take 3 points, they go one point up with one game in hand. Who knows what happens in that other game? You can't say the Wings will win as a certain fact. They go into Vancouver and Calgary for the next two, and I don't see them winning both. So, there's the game in hand.

I stick with it.

Lilja is playing so that is a automatic 2 goals for Nashville.... game goes to OT and we win it in another SO, 5-4.

Think for yourself. Question authority. Throughout human history as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are or where we are going in this ocean of chance, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself.

Pity us who will be watching on Center Ice and mre than likely be stuck with the Nashville feed - these guys are just awful, awful commentators not to mention homers beyond belief.

Ahh.. nothing like a potentially spicy GDT to help get through the cubical shift. tongue.gif

Anyhow, we're not playing well right now... at ALL.. so this will probably be the season's toughest test. Interesting to see how Babcock can fire the guys up, because you know the Preds will be hungry.

Being the homer that I am, I will say the Wings win tonight, behind strong play in net by the Wizard of Oz. Of course, as someone else already said, with Lilly-Farts in the lineup that's good for an automatic -2 going in. biggrin.gif Markov is a good defender, but anyone see how he got hurt .. again? He seems to brittle to handle the playoffs IMO. Mule too, you can really see a glaring lack of any grit when Mr. Franzen is out.

*Edit: Grammar (as usual)

I forgot about them, or rather blocked them from memory. wink.gif

Aflac, the GDT is great as usual. Poor Bobbert, but that's just gold.

I don't have a great feeling about this game, but the Wings have to play better than they did on Sunday. I can't conceive that they won't, just a bad game all around. Better tonight, 5-4 Wings win in regulation.

I'm excited for this series. Lets hope we take both of them, I only require one to be in regulation though, I don't want to be too greedy.
Oz will hold the fort tonight and Dom will hold it tomorrow. Lets get 2 great games dDetroit

The Preds are gonna kick the living $hit out of the wings! Total domination by the Preds from start to finish! Tomorrow night too!!

Do I sound convincing???? I'm trying. Man this game scares me. Osgood just gets up for the Preds and gives them fits.
Can't you guys get McDonald back and put him in the net? Good luck to ya but I hope you guys lose. See you tomorrow

Wings will lose a close one in regulation, 4-2. Last goal is an empty netter.

Cheer for the Nucks against Minny too!

Appearantly they are fairly big Red Wings fans at NASN:

Wow. Injuries be damned huh? rolleyes.gif tongue.gif

Wings 4 (Schneider(PP), Lidstrom(PP), Draper, Hudler)
Preds 3 (Kariya, Erat, Dumont)

Other notes:

- A fight, good way to build intensity for tomorrow
- Another Pred injury, not major though, but enough to not play tomorrow
- Lang has 3 helpers, 2 on the PP

Why would you ever predict an injury? That's just not cool.
