C-Dub 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2008 (edited) Wow, what an insane race! Some people really need to wake up. Ferrari looked pitiful, but then again, it's 1 race out of 18, I am sure they will bounce back just fine. Very impressed with Hamilton coming back to his second year with such a strong performance. Barichello running off with the fuel hose...wow! That was lucky nobody got dragged under the car. Raikonen making TWO total mistakes in one race...wow, that was unexpected. Glock's crash will be replayed all season similar to Kubica's last season...he was damn lucky on that one. CRAZY start to the season... C-Dub 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2008 Malaysia should be great, drivers seem to like the track. It has two long straights that should give plenty of oportunity to pass. After what happened in Melbourne I think drivers will be a bit more conservative in the first turn because they are coming from half-way through the longest straight to a long 180 degree turn into a 90 degree chicane. A lot of drivers were way to aggressive on the first turn in Melbourne, after one race that usually irons itself out a bit. I expect Ferrari to make a statement after the pitiful result in Melbourne. Heidfeld will make it on the podium again if he doesn't have mechanical defects.

HomeNugget 2 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 anyone else up to watch the race?
C-Dub 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2008 Another race like Malaysia or Melbourne and Massa will have to answer a lot of uncomfortable questions from the Ferrari bosses. Two races in the books and two races not finished because of driver error. Sure, his car died in Melbourne but I am confident that him being involved in two accidents during that race did not help the car in any way. The guy has the talent but he sure is inconsistent... Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted March 25, 2008 Loved the Australian GP, a bit disappointed with the Malaysian race though. Was a bit of a snooze fest, not much passing and reasonably predictable. Liked Webber's race, thought he did a fantastic job of holding off Hamilton for almost half the race. Very pleased to see him end up with a few points. ltgator333 3 Report post Posted March 31, 2008 NASCAR is boring as hell. what's so exciting about turning left? i can turn left. I can't hardly stand watching NASCAR anymore honestly, BUT, I have found I love the doggie doo-doo out of going to the local dirt tracks. I think NASCAR should run some of the short tracks on the dirt. DO IT IN THE DIRT! The other reason I don't like NASCAR anymore is that it takes waay too much to get around someone. That's why, although I don't frequent open wheel cars like CART, IRL or F1, when I do get the opportunity (that you speed channel, once in a while...) I WILL watch the races. If a guy screws up a little on the dirt, or on the asphalt in one of the above mentioned open wheel cars, that guy that screwed up maybe just a little, gets passed in a hurry, AND quick. And if said guy has a good car, he's gonna be right back on the guy who passed him quick, AND in a hurry. That's racing. Ditch the restrictor plates, limit the CID NASCAR!
