I'm very excited for this game! First of all, actually going to a game where Ozzie's playing at home, a rare thing! Plus, Bert is hopefully, most likely in the lineup! I can't wait.

Also, taking my little sister to a game for the very first time.

Maybe I should make a sign welcoming Bert?? I don't know...ah the days of signs...i haven't done that forever...

Tell Feds hi for me. wink.gif Where are you sitting, so we can look for you? yowza.gif Jealous me, you get to see Bert live for the first time as a Wing. I hope he has a good night, and Ozzie, too. Have fun!!!

Need to get back on track, Don't take anything for granted. We can't give the jackets anything. Wings will come out strong tonight at the joe and win 5-3.

Dats gets a goal and 2 assist. Filppula gets a goal and Lang, Homer, and Lidstrom all score.

This is going to be exciting!

Here's hoping he doesn't push too hard, too fast.
It's amazing how much clarity comes when you care more about the Red Wings than any individual player.

This is GREAT news!

So should I make him a sign? Ideas?

I was thinking something like:

Welcome to the Hockeytown family, Bert
Glad to have ya!

Or something...ideas?

I don't think I've been this excited for a game all season. Cannot wait! clap.gif

I think we'll have a big win. 5-1 sounds about right.

Should be an interesting game, but I'm going to predict a crappy 4-3 win.
Hopefully I'm wrong and they score 6+ goals.

Need a win tonight, especially with the Preds losing last night. And they play tonight as well, so we need to win and they need to lose. I'll be pulling for Calgary to win tonight, in regulation.

Let's go Wings. Can't wait to see Bert tonight.

He must've gone to Wayne Gretzky hockey school last summer or something.
I've always thought of him as one of the worst players in the NHL,but he's actually been decent this season. unsure.gif

No more scrubs. Real team almost all back from injury. This makes the game much more entertaining to watch... as much fun as it is seeing Ellis/Hussey/Bootland try to keep the puck in the corner the entire shift, I would much rather see someone try to score.

4 -2 Wings
Franzen, Filpula, Bertuzzi and Kronwall

Who knows; maybe you would realize that enforcers in hockey are critical to a teams chemistry and overall success?

Yay Bert and Cleary! I have to miss the first period because I have class to 8 (boo). Lets say wings win 4 (Cleary, Pavs, Rex, Lids) to 1.

Just read on TSN that Bert is going to be on a line with Pavel and Homer. Sounds good to me!
