White Jerseys Again?

Word is whites are coming back as the home jerseys and I've heard that Columbus is adopting the 3rd jersey logo as the primary logo next season.

I'm glad the whites are coming back as home. I'm always so confused when I watch games

That is official now btw. 3rd jerseys will be primary next year, but no black w/white stars along the edges.

i think the black practice jerseys look awesome with the bright red winged symbol in the middle

YES! I would love to see them wear those every once in awhile.

I'm not a big fan of the red jerseys...too much red, IMHO.

i think it makes more sense the way the nfl does it to have dark jerseys at home...thats your colors, so the away team should wear the generic whites...and no way to black jerseys...as somebody said "say no to 3rd jersey trends"...i dont mind 3rd jerseys, but NO to the BLACK 3rd jersey trend...everybody just throws black into their uni's and then makes a jersey out of it...this is more so in football, but i cant stand those black lions jersey

I love the white as home but if they are wearing white as home the need to wear red as away. i dont' think we need third jerseys, don't get me wrong i like the third jerseys for a lot of team but for the wings there doesn't need to be a third jersey. I do think it would be cool if we added the tie up top to the jerseys like a lot of teams have now. it looks classy

Yea, it doesnt make sense to wear white for home and away, im fine with white being home but pick one for home, pick one for away. the black practice jerseys should stay, PRACTICE jerseys. the red wings are a historic team and I hate when teams with great history change their jerseys. the red wings are a team of orginality so stick with the norm.

I don't see why dark jerseys were introduced as home in the first place; probably another of Bettman's great ideas.

In any event, it'd be far less confusing if the league were to return to white jerseys at home; at present, events sometimes force teams to switch back and forth, while that never happened when whites were used at home.

The NBA does light jerseys at home. I like that better too.

I think they switched to the dark jerseys to boost sales of them, everyone was buying the light home jerseys

EDIT: This is my 200th post, Two red boxes for me! :carrot:

So Columbus made it official huh? That's cool because I really like that 3rd jersey logo.

And for those against a 3rd jersey for the Wings (which includes myself) don't worry too much because I've read and heard many times now that the NHL and Reebok are doing away with 3rd jerseys next season. I don't know how true this is but where there's smoke there's fire.
