Playoff Broadcast?

What stations will the Wings games be aired on, primarily? My satellite is out, so I'm going to have to watch what I can on other peoples cable and satellite without NHL Center Ice, in the south.

Will a lot of them be on Versus? NBC?

last year all 6! were on versus.

This is my first year not in Detroit for the playoffs... does CENTER ICE carry playoff games? A little worried about it...

CBC for sure if they play the Flames

I don't think CBC is a station in the south, at least not in Florida where my buddy lives.

At this point, i think its going to against the Canucks. I think Sportsnet does the broadcast for that.

FSN has all games for the first two rounds, I believe - save for whatever is on NBC or CBC (simulcast). After that, we depend on CBC, Versus or NBC.

Goddamn I hope FSN doesn't have the first two rounds. That'd mean I won't see any Wings games this playoff year. :(

i thought it went:

first two rounds = normal regional broadcasts (Ken and mickey for us)

and the conference finals and Cup finals = national stage (i hope that doesn't mean versus)

The SCF are all on NBC. As for the other three rounds, it will be on whatever local station that team has (in our case FSN Detroit), Versus, or CBC pending whether it's a Canadian team.

yes

Are you sure about that? I didn't think Centre Ice aired games in the playoffs, but maybe I just didn't care to check since I got the games on other channels anyway (I am in Toronto). Maybe the Centre Ice service is different in Canada come playoff time due to CBC/TSN?

That's not a good thing guys, although I already paid for NHL Center Ice in full, I lost my job and can't afford to pay my Satellite bill. No playoffs for me. =(
