I hope to see a fantastic game tonite. Hopefully we just didnt show up for bottom feeding teams. However, we really do need to play a whole game tonite. I wasnt able to watch vs. the Blues, but I turned to my one-stop-shop for game information -- here. It sounded pretty horrible. Its the only game I missed watching this year... sad.gif Anywho I hope we make up for it, and I wanna see more of BERT!

The problem the Wings have (and have had for a couple years now) is that they play at their opponent's level. It's very rare that they completely blow out a team. (except for the first game against Phoenix) To an extent, it happened in the playoffs last year and the year before.

Hockey gods smileth upon Covenant... AGAIN!! I'll be in attendance again tonight. This will make about 7 games for me this year, a record. I like the perspective from the suite too, even though it's way up there you get a nice idea of how the plays start/evolve. (free beer and food doesn't hurt either).. Why I didn't ask around the office before the New Year is beyond me. tongue.gif I tell you though, one of the attorney's here mentioned to me @ the Nashville game that they rarely fill the suite, and that's when I offered my attendance. Easy to give away one suite ticket, as most want to bring family, etc.

I was in the WDIV suite for the Habs game. What a cool suite, for those that haven't seen the pictures. It's completely COVERED with hockey memorabilia. I agree that it's great to watch the plays develop from way up there, but it just doesn't feel like you're at the game. There definitely is a feel of separation from the action. My favorite place to watch the game are my cousin's seats: 2 rows behind the Wings' tunnel, right off the aisle. It's so close, you can smell the sweat and my adrenaline never stops flowing. The seats also have a great perspective into the Wings' bench.

I HATE IT WHEN GAMES ARE NOT ON FSN DETROIT!!!

I have to decide to either study for my two exams this week, or go to a friends house to watch because I don't have Versus :\

Anyone know if Yahoo is broadcasting this, or a good site to listen to the game?

If I do that, I know exactly what he will do. hehe.gif

I guess this is where the DARE program will need to kick in, and I'll have to do that whole "responsible" thing.

I'm going to the game. What sucks though is that I have an exam at 6 PM (was cramming last night, hence why there was no GDT tongue.gif ). Fortunately, it shouldn't take me more than a half hour though - just enough time to get there (might be a bit late).

Nevertheless,

looks like sopcast for mee.

i just want to see the Wings play hard and win tonight.
this game could help decide who gets an extra push towards the Presidents.

Non-Aflac GDT = Instant lose sad.gif

Well not really but it does seem that way.

Anyways I think we'll play better tonight and I feel Bert's going to get his first Red Wings goal, but despite many improvements we still fall short. Once again I hope I'm wrong on this.
God put me on earth to do a certain number of things. Right now I'm so far behind I'll never die.

Aflac, you get a much deserved GDT off. tongue.gif

Bert might not score, but he'll have a helper I think. Time for predictions. Still dunno if Ozzie or Dom is in net, but at this stage it doesn't really matter. I honestly think that either one gives us an equal chance at winning. To be frank, Ozzie has looked sharper this month.

Wings: 4 (Kopecky, Lebda, Zetts X 2) tongue.gif .. more like Pavel, Schneids, Markov (lol) and Calder.

Ducks: 1 (Getzlaf)

Red Wings 3 (Bertuzzi, Cleary, Samuelsson)

Ducks 2 (whoever)

I've been quite disappointed with 24 this year.

You're telling me! By far the worst season. It's not even all about Jack! What's with that?!

Anyways regardless...I would never choose 24 over the Wings. You can record 24 *KpWings* but the Wings game is live!

Wings win it 3-1

Bertuzz (2) Calder

I was (trying) to make a joke about "24" on the Red Wings, Chris Chelios. You know, #24.
