RyanBarnes! 293 Report post Posted March 30, 2007 Not very original. Bowman has always had this stance on fighting. It's not a big deal if a team dresses someone for the sole purpuse of fighting. I think Bowman should stop pretending like it is. Fighting is part of the game, just leave it at that. Don't try to change it into something else. Nobody cares how it is done in Europe. Guest micah Report post Posted March 30, 2007 The first two paragraphs of this article could be paraphrased as "there is no need for goons who's only job is to fight, I didn't need that in Montreal - until my guys started getting beaten up so I called up some goons and that took care of things." I just don't like the three- or four-minute guys that get out there just to fight. ..then why were you putting Stu Grimson on the ice, for his keen powerplay skills? BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted March 30, 2007 Yeah, there's a mixed message there for sure. He didn't bring Joey Kocur back from the beer leagues for his skating and offense.
theman19 47 Report post Posted March 30, 2007 Yeah, there's a mixed message there for sure. He didn't bring Joey Kocur back from the beer leagues for his skating and offense. yeah i can picture that one weakness-lacks much of an offensive upside, and does not posses an nhl level defensive skill set Strengths- a right cross that would make mike tyson in his prime shake with fear. Bowman- right,..so lets sign him.
