Me too. I live in SoCal and have watched him improve his game in LA all the way up until his trade this year to the Rangers. A much better player than when he left Detroit. Throws the mitts, aggravates, handles the puck well, has speed, pretty good shot, sticks up for teammates, etc..

Avery really loved Detroit too, I remember when he got traded and hearing a radio interview and he was bawling his eyes out when he found out he was going to the Kings.
