25th May 1967 - 25th May 2007

Tomorrow is 40 year's to the day since Celtic became the first British Football team to win the European Cup.

As you can see , they won every competition that they entered that season.

RIP Ronnie Simpson , Bobby Murdoch and Jimmy " Jinky " Johnstone.

"You'll Never Walk Alone".

:drunk:

I'll drink to that!

My goodness, what an ugly bunch. Great team though, can't deny that.

And Glasgow, seeing as we still lead you 51-41 in all-time Scottish titles, it's still us who "welcome the chase." ;)

Scotland won. :D

Man United have confirmed the signings of Nani from Sporting Lisbon and Anderson from Fc Porto . Both are a great bit of buisness from Sir Alex . Two really exciting young midfield talents.

Yes indeed. Excellent signings.

Who's picking Man Utd for treble next season?

I am,if they sign another forward.

I know I should dislike Man Utd because I'm a Leeds Utd fan,but for some reason I don't.

My girlfriend even bought me a official ManU Champions of 2006/07 season t-shirt from London.

Partly just for fun,but still...

Shame on me.

Come on Leeds!

I do too. :)

I think that Man United have been pretty quiet in the Transfer market the past few season's when it come's to exciting superstar type player's. And then they go and pick up three in a couple of day's. I'm already getting excited about the Premiership next season. :D

P.S.Don't worry about Leeds , they'll eventually get back to where they belong.

I have been a live-long supporter of SC Heerenveen from the Netherlands.

Not the biggest club in the country (we're about the fourth or fifth club, behind Ajax Amsterdam, PSV Eindhoven and Feijenoord), but always sold out with 26.000 fans and always playing in the UEFA Cup.

It's Ok , I just read on the Sky sports website what happened. Sounds like England should probably have won.

Beckham at it again. I caught the game just a few minutes after Owen scored his goal.

Just took a look at the rest of the Euro2008 scoreline and Scotland won as well. I hope they qualify and it would be great if they deny the Italians.
