Russia have been strong all competition but it was still a big shock seeing them beat the Dutch the way they did . Arshavin and Pavlechenko are a very leathal strike partnership . Celtic had been getting linked with signing Pavlechenko before the tournament started , now they have no chance of doing so with the way he's playing.

Du, du, du, du, du, du, du, du, du, du, du, du,
When I see you Red Wings,
I go out of my head,
I just can't get enough,
I just can't get enough,
All the things you do to me and all the things you said,
I just can't get enough.
I just can't get enough
We slip and slide and we fall in love and I just can't seem to get enough of...

Why? God, Italy is the worst. Anybody who beats Italy - unless it's Mexico - gets a big ol' thumbs up in my book.

hahaha good lord, they beat a team of divers and primadonas. The only italians I feel bad for are buffon and gattuso, the only respectable men on that team

Hey Al is there any online sites you can watch European Soccer games over in the US?

Well that would make sense then. I still don't like 'em though. The soccer team, I mean. I've been to Italy and absolutely loved it, but that doesn't stop the national team from being the biggest divers and jakers in all of Europe, which is saying something. I guarantee you a huge reason soccer hasn't caught on in America like it has in Europe is because whenever it's on TV (which generally is once every four years) we look and we see all these players get a little bitty kick in the shins and go down screaming for Jesus to save their mortal soul because they're dying right there on the field. Until the stretcher guys come out and/or a foul is called, then they're miraculously OK until the next time they're touched. It turns off a lot of folk.

Yeah it turns off a lot of Australians too, including myself. However, I can't help but appreciate the skill and grace of the game when it's played by quality teams.

I'm also trying to figure out what team to root for while Tottenham is relegated next season, I'm thinking Celtic.

"During Robert Lang’s time in Detroit, he caused me anguish. Other times he brought me and my family great joy. Robert Lang occasionally coasts, and spends time searching for the best pane of glass to best view the reflection of his flowing mullet. Other times he is a strong-armed force with the puck. I never knew what to expect from Robert Lang. He is The Enigma. " - A2Y

How about the other team from North London? You know the one that has a similar passing style like the Red Wings and also the same team colors.

Haha, one of my old roommates and best friends is an Arsenal fan and says almost verbatim the same thing. I don't see it happening.
