That means the Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins will meet in the first round in what should be one hell of a series. Looks like Ottawa will have home-ice advantage. I do see that a lot. But the Wings don't have to go through them to get to the Finals and haven't met in the Finals either, so I've got really no reason to hate the Sens. The only thing I don't like about them is that stupid ugly logo they wear on the stupid ugly curvy-stripe red jerseys. I do despise Carolina, (As far as I'm concerned they got lucky on their cup run [read: Koivu, Sabres' D, Roloson]) but Ottawa is my 2nd favourite team. I think they have a better team this year than last, despite the losses of Chara and Havlat...the former was useless in the '06 playoffs..... They got screwed by a hot Cam Ward last season (and yes...I partook in the festivities living here in NC) so I hope they get a chance to fare better this year.
