The contract, expected to be a one-year deal, was agreed to in principle over the weekend between the Avs and their longtime leader, an NHL source confirmed. Guy's a beast. then again, the update says that it may be a 1 year re-sign. but is that really a "major announcement"? He is Joe Sakic. Pretty important fella.
