If you were FROM detroit, you WOULD care about paying the $63 for cheap seats. People outside of Michigan simply dont understand where the economy is at right now.

Read all my posts with an eye for humor. The last two reasons were jokes. I've complained on these forums quite a few times about my distaste for the cramped seats, and I figured I would throw it in there with the other reasons.

Well, I figured the Mexico one was a joke, but I thought the seat one was serious.

I just did a search on TicketMaster for game 1 to see how bad it was and I found 15 seats In a Row Unsold. I found that astounding. There should be no empty seats in the playoffs, obviously Illitch has to change something!

As I've said before, Illitch will never change ticket prices unless the Wings fall apart. Empty seats really mean nothing to him. As long as the corperate sponsers are buying them, that's good enough for him.

I really don't like to criticize Mike Illitch, because he is a great owner for all the work he put into this team in turning it around. But he seriously needs to take a look at the status of the Michigan economy, and really consider making a change. Soon enough, almost nobody will be going to games.

Yeah i did the same thing today, im starting to wonder if anyone is going to the game
