Well, they have been calling it a inflamed disc and a herniated disc since he's been out.

Calm down. He's fine. Give him a period to work the kinks out and find his form and he will be unstoppable like always. biggrin.gif thumbup.gif

I sure hope so sad.gif I just don't want him to get more hurt. Poor Zata.

The problem with that type of injury, is it can re-occur. Let's hope Hank stays healthy and is able to bring his "A" game all series.

His A game? The guy has missed almost two months of hockey!?

And Great Avatar Matt. Do you know what the standard instructions are for using one of those?

Pull the pin
Aim at the base of the Flames
Squeeze the trigger
Sweep!

Oh, I knew the instructions, haha. I thought including them, along with the last step, would be a little bit of overkill, haha. Don't want to insinuate that I think it'll be a sweep... laugh.gif

Could you point me to an article that says Zetterberg has been suffering from a herniated disc prior to today's edition in the Detroit News? Because I've missed it up until this point, apparently.

Yikes.

Glad he's fine now though! He said he feels really good so I guess that's all that matters.

I still think it's a really dumb move for them to let the public know about this.

So dose this mean Z is going to have to have surgery!? unsure.gif Does a herniated disc just fix itself?

In the majority of cases, yes. A few weeks of rest usually reduces the inflammation down to where it will heal.
