Was just browsing the forums at Calgary Puck and I came across a great thread of fan made graphics. I love the wings but some of them are just amazing work and funny., my favorite is the 07 wings jersey, I won't spoil it but it is great. smile.gif

The graphics will be even funnier when the Flames are golfing.

http://forum.calgary...ead.php?t=40867

I am creating this tread to get the Wings fans who are graphics artists (or who know how to use photoshop) to post their work. I am not very talented but I will try to make something when I get home from work and post it in time for the game.

Come on guys lets show them crazy Flames fans that we can make foolish graphics with the best of em!

F.Y.I. They talk about our forums on their site often and have many likes to us. They are likely within our midst... be prepared!

"During Robert Lang’s time in Detroit, he caused me anguish. Other times he brought me and my family great joy. Robert Lang occasionally coasts, and spends time searching for the best pane of glass to best view the reflection of his flowing mullet. Other times he is a strong-armed force with the puck. I never knew what to expect from Robert Lang. He is The Enigma. " - A2Y

Have to agree with the other post. I know it was a huge event for the US. But lets not let this turn into a reasons why Canada and the US should hate eachother thread. It is just for the fun of playoff rivalry. Do a little research, I am sure you could find plenty of things which are significant to Canadians and turn it on the flames.

Something I noticed between this thread, and the ones about the vegas odds, and the Canucks fans videos ... is that is what We need to be doing. In the weeks leadingup to the playoff ... we All know how many ... "Who are we gunna play the first round? Will Dats show up? Are we ready? Yada-yada-yada" Why didnt we come up with any of these clever little links, threads, ideas. Lets get on it.

LOL @ the "Nacho Libre" poster with Lang.

The Iwo Jima poster is borderline, but since it doesn't mean anything to them I suppose they didn't really think about it. Not that I think it's OK --- but there's no point in making an issue out of it.

Now that one w/ Jiggy on the "300" poster is definitely very sweet.

First of all- here's a little hint about SCTV:

It brought YOU all of these comedians:
The show's original cast included:

* John Candy
* Joe Flaherty
* Eugene Levy
* Andrea Martin
* Catherine O'Hara
* Harold Ramis
* Dave Thomas

Enjoyed sucess in syndication in the USA and got 15 emmy noms and 2 wins.

As for Iwo Jima- please tell me you aren't serious. Significance to world history? Have you studied world history? Because Iwo Jima is a little drop in the bucket of conflict and but one of MANY famous battles. Extremely important to US history? Of course. World? You're being a bit arrogant in that assumption (as far as I'm concerned). But that's terribly off topic.

And Canada is WELL aware of the significance of WWII battles- we fought valiantly and Canadians were renown for their courage and successful campaigns throughout the war.

If you see the movie Flags of Our Fathers, the whole flag plant was propaganda to get people to support the war and buy bonds. The flag was raised on the 5th day of battle (before it even ended) and the battle went on for like 30 more days. See, we know about the battle.
