Bertuzzi Trade: Anybody got the full details?

I know we dealt Mattias. Anybody know what all the stipulations were?

Wasn't there a regular season and a postseason stip? Just looking for a complete breakdown as I'd like to know if we've given anything else up as of this point because of any marks like games played, etc....

If he re-signs, Florida gets a first round pick. That's definite.

I'm not positive what the conditions are, but if we go to the Finals and Bertuzzi is in our top five in scoring Florida gets another first. If we go to the Conference Finals and Bertuzzi is top five in scoring and plays a certain amount of games they get a second round pick. There is another set of conditions for Florida to get a third rounder but it depends how far the Wings go. I'm not sure if the conditions I posted are right but it's something like that.

I thought the pick in 2008 would *only* be given if Bert were to resign, and it would be a second rounder. It was a 2nd round pick that would become a 1st rounder?

As of now the only definite thing Florida gets (got) is Matthias.

If Bert re-signs they get a 2nd in '08.

Bertuzzi has to play 2/3ds of our playoff games for the '07 pick that's either a 3rd rounder, a 2nd (if we get to the Conference finals with Todd playing 2/3rds of the games) or a 1st if we get the Stanley Cup with Todd playing 2/3rds or the Conference Finals with Todd playing 2/3rds and top 5 in scoring (for the Wings).

The Panthers recieved Matthias, and up to 2 conditional picks. If Bert reups with the Wings, the Wings will send Florida one pick this year, and another next year. The two conditional picks are dependant on how many games Bert played in the regular season for one, and for the other, it was dependant on how many games Bert played in the playoffs, how many points he put up, and how far the Wings advanve in the playoffs
