What time is the game on Thursday?

NHL.com says 9:30pm EST. Start.

I was confused when I also saw that Yahoo Sports has the game starting at 2pm as well. Funny stuff!

comcasts web site is sayin its at 2pm but yet the tv menu says 930pm

ESPN.com on my cell phone said 2 as well, and I was freaking out this morning. Obviously that's a ridiculous time for a weekday game. I trust NHL.com well ahead of ESPN.

At this point it wouldn't surprise if they broadcast it at 2pm. My reasons are:

Sunday had a 1pm start, that means it started at 11am on Sunday morning Calgary time. If I was a Flames fan that would piss me off.

Tonights game starts at 10pm, what happens if this game goes into 4 overtimes? I know, you screw the Wings fans. This could have started at 9pm which would be 7pm Calgary time. An hour does mean a lot.

And last, two games on back to back days Saturday and Sunday. What happens if the first game goes into 4 or 5 overtimes. Now you have to play again the next day. What if the second game is the same? Someone is going to get injured. Hopefully they sweep so it won't matter.

I know they want to cater to the U.S. networks but no one apparently watches here anyway. They could have easily had the two games in Calgary at 9pm on Wednesday and 10pm on Friday.
