Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted April 21, 2007 excellent work. 4 to 1 wings. We'll stay out of the box, outhustle them and finally score on the powerplay. Even strength play will be the same with us dominating the entire game.

Zenithian 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2007 Back in the friendly confines of the Joe, I think we'll see great things from our Wings this afternoon. I think they'll reassert themselves and take control of this series! All you doubters can take a hike!
dicksmack 33 Report post Posted April 21, 2007 Now that I've had time to re-watch the last game, I 've come to better appreciate how truly lucky and dependent on Kipprasoft, and the stripers, the Flames were to square this series. Wings win handily. I'll be there in section 106 screamin' my ass off. Zetterberg and Datsyuk destroy...

Statts 4 Report post Posted April 21, 2007 Interview snippet with Mike Babcock when the Red Wings' plane landed, Friday afternoon ... Are lineup changes a possibility? Yah, pretty sure. Any idea what you're looking at? Yah Care to share? No. Does that mean that Jiri Hudler will play Saturday? Does that mean that Henrik Zetterberg will center his own line or that Zetterberg will bump Pavel Datsyuk over to a wing? Does that mean more personnel changes on the power play? Babcock isn't saying. Thought I would share this article from Red Wings Corner
puckbags 863 Report post Posted April 21, 2007 Personally I would like to see the Drapes Cleary Maltby get a ton of ice time tommorow....besides that WE WIN!!!
henrik40 76 Report post Posted April 21, 2007 just saw this on nhl.com, so I don't know how true it is but let's hope for the best "Babcock did not say what lineup changes, if any, he planned to make Saturday. But Mikael Samuelsson or Kyle Calder could be scratched to get Jiri Hudler back on the ice." 3-0 (I'm not predicting who scores it's bad luck for me at least) LET'S GO RED WINGS!!! Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted April 21, 2007 The mighty fortress, old but sturdy, stands now and forever in the Flames way. In the hallowed halls of the Joe, where the walls are painted with legends and the banners held aloft signify excellence, the Flames will meet their decisive and crushing doom at the hands of these Red Wings. We will defend this house.

In the hallowed halls of the Joe, where the walls are painted with legends and the banners held aloft signify excellence, the Flames will meet their decisive and crushing doom at the hands of these Red Wings. Guest Tunbo Batman Report post Posted April 21, 2007 Sorry guys, we are done. The Wings are a one-trick pony, and Calgary has figured out how to beat that trick, so it's all over tomorrow night. No matter how many fancy plays we abort while trying to enter the zone, no matter how many times we shoot high and wide or directly in the goalie's chest, we're not winning another game this year. Babcock is completely lost again....he was outcoached by Craig ******* Mactavish, and now that n00b? Shame. I'd eat crow, but I just can't see it happening. Stu in Israel 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2007 Turner Sports Network had a quote from Coach Playfair after Calgary won their first home game in the series, it went something like this: "Everything I said to motivate them at The Joe was wrong, everything I said to motivate them at the Saddledome was right!" Let's hope that Coach Babcock has figured out how to counteract that!
