theman19 47 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 I can't say enough about the incredible level of play Cleary exhibited this very young post season. He's constantly on the attack, utterly relentless in the play. His shorthanded penalty shot drove a deep nail in that game five coffin for the flamers. His hit on Phaneuf was Vladdy like in its "holy crap!" impact and he missed the series winner off the post in the dying seconds of the third. To every organization who gave up on him, a rebuttle from the fans of the Detroit Red Wings, Thanks!

Well said What's weird with Cleary is that the reason those teams gave up on Cleary was partially due to work ethic. Which looks like a joke now, considering he is arguably the hardest working guy on the team. He played just awesome this series and through the regular season too.
