glasgowcelticwing 18 Report post Posted April 26, 2007 I've got fully confidence in the Wings that they will work around there injury problems. I'm still sad to see that Homers out so long tho.
Tiburon 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2007 To be honest, the injuries that you're boys have is encouraging, but I don't think it will hurt the Wings too much. They are one of the few teams that can roll four lines and that kind of depth makes up for a lot of injuries, and guys like Lidstrom and Chelios may be old, but they are serious work horses. Henrik The Great 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2007 Injuries suck, but they are part of the playoffs. If Homer and Lebda are back for Game 2, but something happens to CheeChoo tonight that forces him to miss Game 2...I'm sure none of us will feel bad for them. Just gotta battle through it. HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted April 26, 2007 (edited) Injuries suck, but they are part of the playoffs. That's exactly it. Injuries or not that's just the battle and grind of the playoffs. If a team WANTS to win and have the power and desire along with facing the adversity then you will win regardless. Adversity while a pain in the ass, is actually a really good thing. Facing adversity and persevering through it says A LOT about a team, and thats what the Wings need to do. wingslogo19 281 Report post Posted April 26, 2007 When I think of all the Wing's players that are either not playing or not playing up to full potential, well, it makes me wonder how much further the team can remain competitive. Jeez, Homer-out-eye Kronwell-out-back Lebda-out-ankle Zetts-in-back Bert-in-back Sammy-in-broken hand Calder-in-broken hand Any others? And that does not include players who are keeping "hush" on their injuries. It will take a lot of guts for the Wings to win the next round, IMO. I think your worrying about nothing.. We have a GREAT team and im not scared of these Sharks... LETS GO WINGS
