Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 All of this "Bells sucks" talk is starting to worry me. I've got a bad feeling there could be some reverse-jinx action going on here. Sooo... BELL 4 HEART SRLY GUYZ

Red4wings4life 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I dont know why but I am smelling a blow out tonight followed by a close series. First Score that comes to mind is 7 - 0 but I dont know. Look for the Wings to get something going very very early in this game
lets go pavel 2 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I'm excited about Flip on the second line, should give us some jump and maybe fire Bert up too. I'm also going out on a limb and saying we get 2 on the power play, not for any reason except that all season we struggle for 4-5 games and then one game we break out with a handful ... I think today's the day. Score first, SJ gets frustrated, takes a few penalties ... 5-2 (Bert, Dats, Z, Schneider, Draper empty net)
Firehawk 305 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I will be at the Tiger's game with my sister today. If any of you peeps are there come swing by and say hi. I'll be in section 137 row 8 wearing the chelios jersey and maybe a huge thing of nachos in my hand! I'll be bringing headphones to listen to the wings after 3. Hopefully I can make it back in time to catch the last period. I hope they play solid again today, and go 100% on the PK! Seems the only way teams can beat us is with the PP this year when in past years the PK has been solid. We'd probably be 5-0 in the playoffs if our PK was excellent as Calgary only survived because of that.
Rivalred 630 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Hopefully they can pull themselves together and no collapse for 3 minutes like they did in period 1 of game 1. They did not play that bad in game 1 as they could of easily scored 4 goals, but they could not get a REBOUND. Key to series of take the shot as soon as you get it and get a REBOUND, pretty simple. They need to win this one. Our boys had a meeting today. Watching videos and all... Off Day for Wings

jenova0 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Time to step up and earn that paycheck. Dats, Zata & Lids need to have great games. LET'S GO WINGS!!!!
WingsWingsWings 3 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I don't think the game will progress as Game 1 did. The Wings now know that the Sharks are not to be taken lightly, and will proceed as such. I think we will see the Wings come out with a lot more jump and score first. I am not going to make a score prediction this time but I think we will see the Wings even the series tonight. If the Wings play the game their way Sharks won't be too happy. The only bad thing about this game is that I will be at work this afternoon and therefore will not be able to watch it live. It will be at home recording and I will catch it on quite a bit of a delay probably after my Wife falls asleep tonight and I have total control over the TV! GO WINGS!!! jenova0 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 If they lose tonight, can we pleeeeeeeeease panic? Please please please?!?!?!? Unless we play are best, toughest hockey and still lose then no we cannot panic. The SJ Sharks are good, but so are we. We just need to play up-tempo Red Wings hockey, and we win. I have faith, we WILL WIN.
WingsWingsWings 3 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 If they lose tonight, can we pleeeeeeeeease panic? Please please please?!?!?!? I am assuming that you are kidding due to the rolling eyes! Anyone who decides to panic if the Wings lose tonight needs to remember that the Wings lost the first two at home against Vancouver in 2002. They won the next four. discohadestwo 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I just got a call about an hour ago and I'm going to the game today! WHOOP WHOOP! What's even better is I'm going with my uncle and the wings are 8-0 when he has went to games this year including game 1 vs calgary! Streaks are like shutouts... YOU DON'T MENTION THEM UNTIL THEY'RE DONE! Oh boy.

Firehawk 305 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I am waiting for someone to tell me I'm at the wrong game LOL. I'm going to the Tigers game in my wings jersey with a wings cap on. LOL. I love it baby. 1/5 the price to go to the Tigers and i'm 8 rows from the dugout. I'm bringing a headset to listen to the game once it starts. I hope all 3 of my teams win tonight! Wings 3-0, payback for Game 1. GO WINGS BABY
KATIEBARTHEDOOR24 426 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 (edited) LGPAVEL I like your sig, you hoser . The wings need to come out strong in this game. Stay on them for 60 min. and don't let up on the body(they need to do that every game). They miss Homer on the powerplay, though they can over come it. tweekvp 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 The sharks were not exactly impressive in game 1 and the wings were flat. They have stepped up for every afternoon game so far this post season so I have a good feeling about this one. Wings in 6.

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 what to do if we don't score, we don't win... pretty simple on the face of it. We have plenty of talent offensively but sure didn't make the Sharks worry at all in Game 1 -- I'm talking to you, Pav and Hank. Let's see who steps up today and gets to be the hero!! San Jose doesn't deserve another gimme win. Go, Wings!!
