Andy Pred 48 337 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I hope we don't take our regular season form over to Cali for the next 2 games! I still can't get over checking the score that night seeing we were 3 zip up in 11 mins, and when I got up found out we had not only blown the lead but had been blown away 9-4!! Now I don't think for one minute that this will happen but I'm trying to see how we are going to approach these 2 games, will we throw the gaunlet down and come out all guns blazing and try and catch the Sharks on the hop like they have done to us or will we play a more patient game and bide our time, I will be happy to come back at 2's and the series split, will either Hommer or Lebs be back for the trip West? Aris 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Split in the tank? Not a chance. The Wings will definitely sweep.
DRW Dominance 255 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 We have to win at least 1 in their building or we're toast. Our PK will be the key to surviving with no more cheap penalties. If you're gonna get one make it worth your while.
lets go pavel 2 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 (edited) This is 2 games now where Hasek hasn't quite been on ... I expect him to steal one this series, it would be nice if it happened in SJ. Edited April 28, 2007 by lets go pavel

Dabura 12,207 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 (edited) Home ice advantage is nearly irrelevant in hockey. It sure bit us in the collective ass/gave us a boost in the Calgary series. The Wings can win both of these games if they play smart, disciplined, and physical. Edited April 28, 2007 by Dabura
sibiriak 84 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Or at least to San Jose, they have more road wins than home wins this season. Or to put it another way, SJ lost more at home than on the road.
Dabura 12,207 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I'd like to add that the Shark Tank is not as imposing as everyone in the media is making it out to be. Sure, it's got a kinda-sorta halfway cool name, but if we can win at the Saddledome, we can win anywhere. EVEN IN SPACE.
redwingsfan19 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Of course the wings could get a split in San Jose, either that or they will win both of them there.

T-Ruff 47 Report post Posted April 29, 2007 1 game , They cant beat the ducks in a 7 game series The Canucks can't, but Luongo has a chance..... Winning at the Tank will be easier than winning at the Saddledome.....
Guest DetroitBoy313 Report post Posted April 29, 2007 (edited) Guys I truly don't want to sound like a homer but seriously I think SJ just doesn't play a full 60 minute game for some reason.Being a BIG team will only take you soo far. Both games they have NO GOALS in the 2nd and 3rd periods. And we are injured with 2 very important players especially Holmstrom.I truly believe Wings can win BOTH.They have the talent to do it,but you know what, don't think of both games at once,ONE PERIOD AT A TIME,ONE GAME AT A TIME.GOOO WINGS!!!!! CAredwingsfan91 28 Report post Posted April 29, 2007 its gonna be a hard one for the wings to pull one off at the fish bowl but hopefully they can pull at least one off.
good morning 10 Report post Posted April 29, 2007 1 game , They cant beat the ducks in a 7 game series Please note...that is exactly what people are saying about us, that the Sharks winning is a foregone conclusion (hopefully the win has shut them up a little!) Saddledome > Shark Tank, and we won at the Saddledome. I'm not afraid of the Wings on the road, I'm really not.
betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted April 29, 2007 The question is not, "Can we get a W in the Tank?" The question is, "Why can't we?"
