This however, is dumb and pointless. Yeah, I threw a dead symbol of my team on the ice after cartin git around in my pants.
Also, that shark has to way at least 4 times as much as an average octopus. I think I would rather carry the mollusk in my pants.

It still would be nice to have that one guy. (Jordin Tootoo, wish granted)

dude...we've been asking the same of you guys for YEARS.
I'd rather stick a dead Shark down my pants than an octopus any day.
If we're going that route, I'd rather not stick any sea creature down my pants.

I'm sure you all saw it. After Cheechoo's goal, someone tossed a dead shark onto the ice in the shark tank.
What were your reactions? It seemed a little silly/ironic to toss a dead symbol of your team on the ice...dont ya' think? I guess they dont know the history behind the octopus.
Seeing how the game turned out, i doubt we will see that one again. If anyone has any pics - post them, i'd like to see a close up of that thing.
here ya go

Perhaps they were sporting a winged wheel and that dead shark was actually meant to symbolize the impending outcome of the game.
I dunno, maybe

Just one chance is all i ever wanted...just one time i'd like to win the game...from now on i'll take the chance if i can have it...just one just one

Octopi and Sharks are way more badass than catfish. BTW did any of you San Jose fans see anyone throw any catfish during the Nashville series?

I think we all need to lighten up a little about every little thing. I think it's a tribute to our tradition that other teams copy it in some way. Imitation, flattery, that whole thing.

Another thing. That looks about the size of the sharks that the octopus in that video was eating.
Yeah but that octopus looked about 10 bajillion times bigger than the octopi we throw out on the ice.

Crosby's Bettman Real Doll is going to get quite a workout tonight.

It looks like this guy is about to eat the damn shark...........................
I thought he was trying out his sexy "come hither baby" face for the camera guy while they had the time out. No better time to get your off season modeling career jump started...
