It's times like this that moving to Canada seems pretty reasonable.

Growing up in Arizona they would show baseball highlights from game 20 of some team's 164 game schedule or whatver, then talk basketball and off season football... then mention that the Red Wings won Game 1 against the Capitals in the Stanley Cup Finals. Oh how pissed you used to get.

That's pretty much the way it is here too.

Canada may be cold much of the year, but at least they know which sport matters most.

NHL and NBC complaints lodged. NBC won't do squat me thinks, but at least I spoke. Flood em! I think I'll call m local affiliate in the AM and see what they're carrying - I'm out of market I bet but I don't think I can grab the OTA HD signal from the Motor City.

Me, Living in the southwestern Ozarks, in a town that does NOT have Cablevision service, I have a few options to consider:

1. DirecTV: the Centre Ice Package that I got this season might come in handy in the playoffs after all!

2. Sirius Satellite Radio in the Truck: Seemed like a good investment when I got it, and it's screaming good stuff at me right now!

3. Internet Cast: DSL Rocks.

It's a waste to even email NBC. NBC will not do anything. I messaged them a few times during the Olympics about a correcting a spelling of city in Macedonia on the countries sub pages and they gave me no response back as well not correcting the spelling.

That's what I said. It really sucks! What's more is I have Dish Network AND Center Ice, but in order to get the 2nd Round on you have to have .VS. In order for me to get that I need to buy the full package.

It sucks! I can't see the playoffs unless I order the "full monty" from Dish.

That sucks. I remember years back when we had Dish Network and we had to watch local channels via Free-Air. We couldn't pick up the Superbowl, so I called Dish and asked them to just add that one channel and they did. It was an extra $2 per month.

Sucks they can't do that for VS. Punks!
