Demolition Man 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 No impact. Yeah. As far as I know, the only thing this means is that his Russian team gets no compensation for his moving across the Atlantic for next season. Good for us.
up2here 41 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 (edited) Yeah. As far as I know, the only thing this means is that his Russian team gets no compensation for his moving across the Atlantic for next season. Good for us. Tretiak also said that they were closing the loophole in the Russian labor law that allows players to leave their contracts with 2 weeks notice. So if Igor is under contract the only way the Wings can bring him over is by buying out his total contract. i_like_cheese_2001 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 I kind of wish he was still under contract over there, just so we get a new "Splinter Cell-esque" body smuggling story... but oh's wells, I guess this way is easier.
