You vote for the team you like. ;p I wouldn't vote against the Wings even if I thought we were going to lose..

Still, shows some Wings fans out there, including in my Oregon! smile.gif

These polls have more to do with how many fans there are of each team than what the public really thinks. Wings fans are all over the country and a lot of them will vote for the Wings. They're also one of the more famous hockey franchises, a name that everyone in the U.S. knows. So even people who don't follow hockey will pick them by name recognition alone.

It doesn't mean much.

I'm not sure if the opinion of the American public means much anymore. Remember the last two elections we put that Bush guy in the White House
Steve Yzerman is the greatest captain of all time, thanks for the memories Steve
I live in St. Louis, but I love hockey too much to be a Blues Fan. Go Wings!

How can we be underdogs?

They have that saying...everyone roots for the underdogs...but no one roots for us...everyone hates us.

On a side note...we need to get some provinces in there so Ottawa can get a vote or 2....

Those people know absolutely nothing about hockey. It's obvious they pick the favorite according to the "experts"

Just to sleaze things up...the Vegas moneyline for game one favors the wings. I can't find a moneyline for the whole series though, but I am not much of a gambler.
